This workshop will begin with a 1 hour introduction to SoulCollage® fro those who are new to the practice.  Then we'll spend the next 3 hours exploring the Companion Suit and making SoulCollage® cards.  The Companion Suit represents our animal guides.  Using guided imagery we will identify animal Companions associated with each of the seven chakras.  In addition, you might already know one or more of your animal Companions.  You may feel an affinity to a certain animal or you may notice that you are seeing a certain animal more often than usual or notice them showing themselves in images or dreams.

Kathleen Grittner will facilitate two, half-day SoulCollage sessions at Celebrate Yourself an annual weekend retreat for women.  It takes place in a friendly, informal setting away from daily distractions and pressures.  A colorful cross section of participants, young, old, artists, writers, dancers, teachers, mothers, singers, weavers, all gather with one goal in mind: To celebrate and focus on art.

An inspiring keynote speaker sets the mood for creativity.  Participants encourage and support each other on to new creative heights.  Once released, many people are amazed at their own creativity and abilities. NO ART EXPERIENCE NECESSARY.

What if, in the middle of transition or at a crossroads, there was a way to get some really helpful guidance and, at the same time, be able to rest, play, and have fun? Originated by Seena Frost, SoulCollage® is a process for accessing your intuition and creating cards with deep personal meaning. You will make your own cards – each a collage representing one aspect of your personality. You will learn to use the cards intuitively to participate in self-discovery.

The workshop will take place at Vintage Vine, 104 N First Street, in Roslyn, WA.  There will be tea and snacks available to keep your creative juices flowing.  Lunch will be provided.  We will complete the workshop at 4:00 with time left for those who wish to stay and socialize.  Kristi Payne, proprietor of Vintage Vine, will join us after the workshop and beverages will be available for purchase.

All materials will be provided.  If you have a pair of scissors that you enjoy working with and a journal you like to write in, please bring them.  You will leave the workshop with the beginning of or additions to your own set of cards.  Whether you are brand new to SoulCollage®, or have already attended a workshop, you will find new information and guided activities for exploration and creation of new cards.
